From White Lake there are 20 miles of the best moose meadows around. There are 2 tree stands in this area. Moose, goat, and bear are hunted here.
The Moose Meadows camp is a new 12 x 14 cabin located 5 miles west of White Lake. Two more tree stands are located here and all camp supplies are in a cache on site. Bear and some of the larger moose in the area are successfully hunted here.
Drfit Lake has a 20 x 24 lodge, a 10 x 12 quest cabin, meat shed, and shower house. Because Drift Lake is central, it is used as a base camp. There is a good network of hunting trails supported by three tree stands around the lake. A 12' boat and motor and a 16' canoe are also located at this site.
Little Gunanoot has one nice, log cabin approximately 18' x 24' in dimension. It had new roofing put on in 2007. At the north end of the lake is a tree stand and a canoe and boat are on site here as well. From the air it looks like it would be good moose country.
Blue Lake is at the southwest part of the Bait Mountain range area and is a very scenic spot. It would be a great place to start some eco-tourism. Trails have been cut up to the alpine. It is one of the main goat camps in this guiding territory and is also home to some big moose. This site has a 14' boat and motor on as well as a tree stand.
Driftwood River camp is located at the far end of Takla Lake and can be accessed by road. It has a cookhouse, a guest cabin, and meat shed. There is another building that could be fixed up and made into another guest cabin. There are two aluminum boats there. There are lots of moose in the area and this is where meat hunts are done in this territory.
Nanitsch Lake is on the east side of the guiding territory . It has a 20' x 24' log cabin at the north end of the lake. There are two boats and an outboard motor there. Two tree stands have been built around the lake. A five minute walk will bring you to a small lake with a canoe on it.There are bears, moose and goats there.
Kaza Lake has a new 12' x 24' cabin on it. It hasn't been used since a mining company built a camp there a few years ago. The mining project hasn't been successful and the owner expects them to pull out in the next year or two. This site has road access, a 12' boat and lots of moose.
Alpine Lake, above Drift Lake has a cache with 2 mountain tents, sleeping pads, cooking utensils, salt, and food. This camp is on top of the mountain. Three miles south is an ugly old mining camp to keep you warm and dry while out goat hunting. A propane heater is stashed there for drying clothes. One of the top goat hunting camps in this territory.
All camps are stocked and ready to go, except for the usual firewood and clean up that happens every year. There are tools, axes and shovels in each camp. All goat camps have good backpacking mountain tents and stoves. Also included is a mailing list of over 800 people, the business' toll free number and the www.huntdriftwood.com website, which gets over 50,000 hit a month. It's ranked on the first page of almost every search engine. It is very important for booking as over half this territories bookings are made through its website.
